I tend to agree with Mortac; but instead of the tyrosine I'd recommend Beta Alanine. I've been supplementing with it solely this season and it is most certainly great. I recall reading some research about creatine/Beta Alanine stack for strength and power athletes being superior to either one alone. Seeing as they are both cheap, powerful, and proven (beta, much less so than creatine, but still proven nonetheless) ergogenic aids, I see no reason why not.
As far as caffine goes, I tend to only recommend it's use in either emergency (ZERO energy/motivation) or immediately prior to a very intense workout/competition. I just see no need to stress the endocrine system more than the modern human does on a daily basis with the aformentioned exceptions.
Is it true that beta alanine only helps with high volume sets? I haven't tried it but read an article that said it was only effective if you were doing 35 reps and wanted to do 40 or something of the like.

I'm going to start another thread about Beta in hopes of getting some good discussion started about it.
