Online coaching in general doesn’t seem to be the greatest if you already have a clue about what to do. That is of course unless the online coach has met you and worked with you to some extent. I’ve seen a lot of things go awry when someone is coached by somebody who hasn’t seen any video of the person, hasn’t met them and seen them in action, etc. Not that it is worthless, but it is far from what I consider traditional coaching (which is more than just writing workouts or giving ideas).

There’s a lot to expand on these points though and I might get around to making a longer post on my experience and what I’ve learned from my successes and failures doing the correspondence thing.
