Nothing too much to add, but the 400 race begins at the 200 meter mark. Sure, you need to get off to a good start in the first 100, stand tall and relaxed on the second 100. At the 200, you must attack it with as much intensity as possible! By concentrating on attacking and attempting to increase your speed on the curve, it blocks out some of the fatigue you are experiencing.
