The groin was feeling great after the weekend and then started bothering me again while playing ultimate frisbee in gym. On recollection I think this might be where the problem started from, since I probably have a lot of hip abductor max strength and hurt it trying to use it in a velocity movement. I'm going to get a note now, but this was very frustarating.
The school trainer massaged my hip flexor after school and confirmed that it was incredibly tight; she was amazed at how tight it was. However, that seemed to loosen it up.
-I took the day off afterwards.

Power cleans + Tempo
-5*4 power cleans @ 135 w/ relatively short rest (2 min. 30). Not too hard.
-200 (incline 2), 20s, 500, 30s, 400 (1), 30s, 300 (1.5), 20s, 200 (2). Good to see I haven't lost any general fitness as this was not too tough.
NOTE: Didn't want to ramp the volume all the way back up to normal since that's normally what makes me sick after I've had to take it easy for a bit.
Tomorrow I'll do more tempo work and then Thursday I'll try a speed session.

An attempt at hills
-I tried to do hills. I did a set of 8*~12m up the 15 degree grass hill in my yard followed by some AIS and then on the 2nd rep of the next set I aggravated my groin again.
I had a long debate with myself about whether to go to the gym and do power cleans but I eventually decided that would not be a good decision since the groin is involved.

Power cleans and tempo
-Power clean's didn't go too well. I was going to try to do 8*3 @ 165. I did 1*3 and then missed the third rep on the 2nd set so I decided to just do 2 rep sets for the next 6. The total workout went like this:
1*3, 2*2, 1*missed first and got second, 2*2, 1*missed first and got second, 1*2 (=8 total sets). I think the ones I missed were mainly because I just wasn't concentrating on getting under quickly enough though.
-30 minute med ball circuit (I think I do about 400 reps/ten minutes since I'm using a wall which makes it go fast)
-200 sledgehammer hits
-25 " golf swings
