WOW…kinda odd to think of the different season that Aussies have. I think you can incorporate plyos all the way through…just use the differently. Early on you could do low level jumps mostly in double support perhaps for a time interval. And then gradually shift to higher intensity work. If yo really wanted to get technical with it I’ve found going through a progression that starts with an emphasis on low level contacts on a soft surface and moving to higher intensity jumps with an emphasis on concentric / starting power, then shifting emphasis to eccentric-concentric balance, and then eccentric / elastic emphasis.
