While I think it’s not ideal, I understand the necessity to do this in some cases where ANY bit of recovery is helpful for the CNS.
I myself will do lifting on the same day as I got for a 4-5 mile run because I must get the mileage in.
I wish we had more information on how much of a difference “conflicting” training means inhibit each other. Anyone chime in on this?
