I tuck jump, stretch the hammies, bend legs all the way back and "crawl" into the blocks (kind of stretching calves) and then carefully place feet on pads. After my feet are in, I sit up, look forward, carefully place hands, take deep breath and prepare.
I'd much rather have them wait on me then me wait on them. I hate waiting too long for a command and out here the starters love to hold us in our blocks FOREVER.
