Onk, your problem is not that you cannot get high in your Hop, your problem is that you are TRYING to get high in your hop. That’s probably the LAST thing you’d really want to do for the triple jump.
In fact, that is the number 1 issue for new triple jumpers – managing the hop. Most beginners try to get high on their hop, and end up with a horrendously short step.
Now the actual angle of takeoff varies depending on if you’re from the Polish school of thought, or the Russian school of thought, etc, but in both, the concept is similar: remain relatively low on your hop phase.
