Wow so very important "Im sure you were doing a lot of other things when you experienced hamstring problems besides just Front Squats". so quick to blame a strength movement for a hammy pull.
Not sure if the above quote was addressed at me, but it wasn't the performance of the exercise alone that likely caused the problems. It's the program design interactions of making the exercise a primary lift and the lifts it displaces (in my case the back squat) that are cause for concern.
