I wish companies would make a “sprint specific” running shoe. something with minimal heel to toe drop. Everything is geared towards distance and all the superfoam cushioning makes me feel like I’m running on a marshmellow and is not responsive with the ground the way I would like it to be.
I think its important to know if you pronate or supinate just so that your aware of it and get something that isn’t going to make things worse, but also doesn’t try to correct it with a bunch of support. (i’m not a pedologist, this is just from my experience)
I’ve tried a TON of shoes, I think its just trial and error on your part to get something that works. With that being said I finally found that the New Balance 890’s have worked great for me. I have 4 pairs of the V1, so I havn’t tried the V2 yet. once I burn through the last 2 pairs i’ll try the V2. the V1 is pretty cheap right now if you can find your size.
