Would it be ok to replace ME squats with heavy sled pulls??? And then maybe tie in some walking lunges with the sled to simulate a single leg exercise.
Aren't the sled pulls single leg exercises? And because of this it wouldn't quite be an equal ME substitute (due to the balance / stability requirement). It's really hard to load heavy on sled pulls and not compromise the movement.
I think they could work fine but I'd personally rather do squats. Any reason you'd rather do the sled pulls over squat? Is it an equipment / facility issue or just a preference?
