I just read the study. It would appear that foam rolling increases the ROM for men when compared to the control group, but not for women. The male treatment group saw a mean increase in ROM of 11 on the dominant leg (compared to a decrease of 0.25 in the control), and an increase of just under 9 in the non-dominant leg (compared to an increase of 0.25 in the control). This may not be statistically significant, but I would have thought it had real world significance.
