In reality you did not answer at all.
You cannot pretend all track coaches train the same way.
I personally use a very low volume of strenght training, few exercises ( hardly more than 40 min each session), but off course I stress real strength development for a very small time frame.
Other than that, just supporting role..mantaining and lower %.
You cannot just go to the weightroom to get stronger each and every month ( as PB in a few selected lifts) .
There is a point of diminishing return.
Off course no one suggests to become intentionally weaker, but there are other important elements in training.
I can go to single max in PC while stressing acceleration, but would never test max squats while working top speed..( cns, muscle and joint recovery an issue here)
Also, still no track world examples.
You cannot use typical british track/weights repeated 3 times and using 3×6 as a benchmark for ALL sprint coaches around.
