Karl Grant – you may know him, got me to do 3×3 with max triple, i did it for about a year. This was for cleans, squats and presses.
In the summer i regularly do 80% for a double or triple for cleans and squats or a fast single at about 95% on both. Do you think this is a good idea? Squatting during competition periods heavy?
Last one – max 5 reps, ive only just recently tried these for my strength exercies- would you say it benefits me in any way?

Working up to a limit 5 will definately make you stronger in the squat but will also induce significant fatigue that will impact negatively on your other training components.
