I reference women a lot because I have burn out some women in past by doing more than 2 HI days a week over the course of one season. By the middle of outdoor, they were fried, felt dead all the time, and ran like shizzle.

I am a bit confused b/c one experienced sprint coach said, that women usually can handle more intensive training compared with men. I’m interested b/c I coach some women too but they are still young. However, when the level will be higher so I need to be more carefull. Are you sure that higher frequency of HI was the result of burn out? Maybe some more factors came into play? What were the main signs of overtraining?
