I’ve been off this forum for a while dealing with some crazy injury problems, and have read a considerable amount of this thread.
In regards to David and his weights training philosophy, wouldn’t a program which focuses purely on max lifts be akin to a sprint program where one only does timetrials each session?
Secondly in regards to supplementary exercises, i fail to see how they can be ruled flat out as useless. In my situation where i have had some significant biomechanical issues an approach which suggests high load compound lifts would only serve to further exaggerate the imbalance.
Edit: Second point, im not refering to supplementary exercises with any load designed for strength rather for postural and biomechanical improvement.
