Quik makes an outstanding point, and a rational for this thread.
Many people look at the CF training model as "the bible" of how to train sprinters. While Charlie has a very very good basis to build on, but there are definitely some things I disagree with. Short speed end, like we've been talking about, is certainly one of them.
In a nutshell… there are a thousand ways to do the same thing, all of which have their good points and bad points. The art of coaching is finding the best parts of all of them based on the situation and the athletes.
you have to understand why cf does his short speed end the way he does, bc of indoor facilities etc.
