ya I understand starting with lower rests, but if you do this the entire spp you won't be doing much quality work by the end, which you need. the intensity limit lets you work with the low rests because of the low overall speed. You guys here will see in UTs journal things start to speed up a lot week 7/8 with a lot more rest.
I failed to mention the rests between sets. Perhaps the rest between sets each week can be made longer as the rest between reps is becoming shorter. Plus the other quality work you are doing is the other session during the week and perhaps the actual competition.
