Read what I said before. Doesn't matter how many you can do–that's not the end goal. The goal is to do a couple/few fast. If you read some of Charlie's posts your will see some examples of pro sprinters he has used. He mentions that Zhanna Block had by far the highest work capacity and complete the most 100s in a fast time with shorter rests (I forget his exact example–it was something like 6-8x100m with 8mins rest or something), yet she would lose to Marion whenever Marion was 100% because of higher speeds. Since Block would try to lower the rests or add reps rather than extending rests on what she was already doing, she never hit those top speeds needed to further both her max speed AND speed endurance abilities. I know you have some sort of illogical hate for anyone who likes what CF says or his belief or whatever, but read what the man has seen from experience that also happens to be logical.
"Illogical Hate for people who like what CF says?" You kidding? So I hate myself?
As I said before, I have been a member on cf.com for over 3 years and post there all the time. Do you? If so what is your name?
You must not read what I write. I have a ton of respect for Charlie and agree with about 85% of his stuff but this is one of the few things I may not agree with through experience through MY OWN TRAINING, AS WELL AS THE ATHLETES I HAVE COACHED. As for yourself? You have not used this method (of SSE) nor do you train anyone. So no offense but at this point your opinion Doesn't hold much ground or mean much to me. I'm sure I speak for others on this thread as well when I say that. I am looking for people who have actual experience using this training method on themselves or their athletes.
