not sure i would do 4 weeks of 80, probably would change the 50's to three weeks and 80 to three.
Not a bad idea. But remember the 12 wk. "plan" is just something I threw out for sake of conversation. Realistically it could be what you want it to be. From what I have been doing I prefer to do 17 weeks of this type of work with my long sprinters and 9 weeks of this type of work with my short sprinters. So I would just have ti play with it and make it work. You can take a look at the plan in the link earlier in the thread. However if in fact it were a 12 week progression I like the model PZale posted the best. Ut's suggestion is valid but another way to progress it would be in the last 4 weeks with the 80's going from 2', 90", 75", 60". Just another idea. All I am really looking for is how people progress as far as distance, volume, and rest. These plans we have been laying out is for an imaginary 12 week plan just for sake of discussion. That was it isn't too short and isn't too long thus pertaining to my 9 week and 17 week plan stated above.
