In general, when the weight gets heavier you should still be trying to move the weight fast, but the magnitude of the weight will mean you won't actually be able to move it fast.
Also, would you want to lift fast with the supplementary lifts? Or would that only cause unwanted stimulation of the CNS for that day?
As with even the core lifts, that depends on what you're trying to accomplish with the given training session.
