Kim Collins has actually run 6.50.
So Harry’s masive new strength didn’t help him to run faster? Shock.
I thought that his PB before was 6.53, so article wich I read about it was misleading.
I know that this question about Harry isn’t adressed to me, but generally speaking I start to realize that max strength for sprints is not as important as I thought before. For sure some training should be spend on max strength improvement, but it’s not the main focus all year round. One white sprinter from my country born in 1987 (being 17 ran 100m in 11.17)ran this summer 2010 with legal wind in 10.24. Since 2006 without any weight training at all in his program. This is just one example of much more.
