I think my psychological approach suits me quite well. I generally run well when Im nervous, so I tend to struggle in small meets. I love running in front of a big, noisy crowd, that really helps me get nervous! Because of this, I like to be a bit aggressive before a race because it mirrors the same feelings I get when Im nervous, so Im basically making myself nervous when I am like that. Alot of people have said I am too tense, or using up too much energy, but I think my running style makes me look as if I am tense anyway, so I dont really pay much attention.
