I think your right, I think its all down to the athlete, and their event. You being a 400m runner, you should be more relaxed, as you dont want to be aggressive and go off too hard, as you wont have much left at the end!
Update for 22/1/10
Went to see Dr today to get Vitamin D tested, played alot of Football Manager, culminating in my team (Chelmsford) losing in the play-off final, and I have made serious inroads into my sweets cupboard, where I keep all the sweets that I cant eat during the season and training periods. I feel a bit ill though, so I will try and eat healthier for the rest of the week. Dont want to be too fat when I go back to training! Im cooking homemade burgers and Waldorf salad for dinner tonight, should hopefully be nice.
