Spent today sorting stuff out, like fleshing out my weights, and planning my plyometrics progression to take me to the start of the outdoor season. I watched Charlie Francis weights for speed earlier I found it quite interesting. He stated that every athlete that has gone sub-9.80 has done so with a general weights programme, as opposed to a specific one (i.e. one that prioritises power cleans), and that top level sprinters dont do much plyos, as it is too similar to sprinting, and hence causes excess fatigue. Any thoughts on that?
Also did some achilles rehab, and some stretches. My back is killing from lack of exercise!
