Star how much did you kid improve with the help of Charlie’s website and the plan you developed? *Edit: I guess the better questions would be how much do you feel that helped in her training??? What did you like about it and what would you improve?
The athlete was my daughter, and in only a few months training she went from around 66.something to 60.low (ran sub 60 in practice) in the 400m, and 13.6 to 12.8 in the 100m, in her first year of sprinting as a junior. She only ran the 200m once and ran 26.low. Because of competing training with a club team and the school track team, she only ran for short spurts with me only and then only for a month or two at a time, but her training times always improved rather dramatically from start to finish during any one of those abbreviated mesocycles based on input from Charlie, KK, and Elitetrack members. Non-sport related health issues forces her to miss her senior year, but I feel strongly, from what I saw, that if we had put together a longer term training schedule for her she would have made some major improvements her Senior year in high school.
