star agree, breaking down accel max and SP and perhaps even SE1 and SE2 would be beneficel for sure.
I would like to see some science behind each one as well along with anacdotal
influence of stength training (gym/sled/power/max – Overspeed)
and influence on system stiffness utilised by these coaches (i.e. trainnig on grass and in flats for periods of time etc)
this way your tooling people to really understand a periodisation and how these have then been manipulated by these coaches. rather than just saying this was the session. really delving into the influencing factors that increase speed across the board would really help coaches and athletes.
Hope that makes sense? for instance for meim not a fan of poor books that will simply say borzov was created by a higher use of plyos… plyos are good do them!! We should be skilling coaches to understand the use and nature of what is it is we are coaching into the body, IMO.
