I personally like to take a month off. But it realy depends on a number of factors. How is your overall mind set in regards to track motivation, desire, love for the sport etc etc…Usually after a great season you don’t want to take any time off at all. The opposite is true of a bad season sometimes…Also depends on how your body is physically feeling after the season….

How long will this “summer” training period be before you start fall training again?
I said two weeks since hes not performing tons of intense speed work and with the university program he needs to get some heavy lifting in ASAP..
