Some people are players and others are playMAKERS.
I doubt you see TG run the 200 all that often in college if he decides to run the 400 hurdles. It's nice to have an athlete who gives you so many options. Not only that, but I've observed that Ted is an athlete who makes the people around him better. You can't ask for more than that. I'd like to see Ohio State be one of the elite 4 x 1 and 4 x 4 squads in the NCAA, Penn Relays, etc.
For those who might be curious, here are some of the outdoor school records at OSU:
400-44.10 (Butch, of course)
1600r-3:00.89 (had Robert Smith & Chris Nelloms running)
It would appear that the hurdles records would be most vulnerable
ps. Around NE Ohio there are magnet schools for certain talents such as Arts and Music and Science. We have nicknamed Glenville-The Cleveland School for the Sprints 😉 Coach Ginn does a great job on the east side. It's a very tough neighborhood!!
