So regarding Salazar, its all legal Cov? Or illegal?
LCLT (l-carnitine l tartrate) is the carnitine used for increasing androgen receptors. Its quite useful to stack with stinging nettle extract too, they seem to work together quite well. Was the guy Glenn Kearney?
I have yet to see this being supported by any research. Free Testosterone, Cortisol, Albumin, SHBG, are all factors to see how the tissues are getting uptake but I see no legal supplement doing this. In fact I don’t see much change in training if at all with 90% programs. I have tested athletes hormonally since 97 and a interview of a few experts will share how this is not possible natural.
The Kramer study does show that it may help with recovery via an androgen pathway but it doesn’t elevate anything.
Craig, how much does it cost to do blood work in the UK. A perfect panel is 249 out of pocket in the US but most insurance in the US cares about health after your sick so good luck getting a medical professional requesting hormone testing if you are under 40!
The cheapest I have found for salivary testosterone is £60 (roughly $90), which isn’t horrific, but would soon add up. Its slightly more expensive (~£150) for a daily testosterone panel, where you get 3-4 blood samples over a 24 hour period to see you true daily testosterone patterns. Unless you had a obvious testosterone deficiency illness, the NHS wouldn’t cover this, and most private medical insurance wouldn’t either. The best I could hope for is that my governing body would pay for a few tests.
