i understand what u r saying but i have tested 10-20yds times both ways and the feet close to the line seem to be the fastest.
My tests indicate otherwise. I've found 10 yard / meter times to be about the same with an insignificant edge to the close to the line position but anything beyond 20+ yards / meters gives the advantage to the more spaced starting position. Perhaps the difference is how we deal with body progressions in the first 20 yards / meters.
