short to long is a method of periodization where you start short and get longer:bounce:. example: accel -> maxV -> SE
this means you start off your season with short distance and progressively get longer. i recomend short to long for now because its simpler to set up and i think most of us are more familiar with it.
fraek, i meant test your 100 and 200 later in the summer. go to the classics section of the forums and click on the 'strength at LSU' thread. youll have plenty of lifting info there to get started. and about soccer/xc, youll have to decide for yourself but i would recomend xc for you as a sprinter.
