You have the right idea in doing squats, presses and olympics lifts, you just got it wrong in order, that's all.
Monday / Friday – Cleans / Squats / Bench
Wednesday – Hang Cleans / Front Squats / Military
That's more what it would look like. One of each on each of the three heavy lifting days.
Tuesday and Thursday are correct in the circuit training / General Strength work.
Now here's the kicker (sorry 🙁 ). You have to match heavy lifting day with CNS track days and circuit / GS days on tempo / low-CNS days.
Monday – Speed / Weights
Tuesday – Tempo / Circuits
Wednesday – SE / Weights
Thursday – Tempo / Circuits
Friday – Speed / Weights
or, as I have done it before:
Monday – Speed / Lower body weights (cleans/squats/RDL's)
Tuesday – Tempo / Upperbody weights
Wednesday – Warm up / GS work on track (like hurdle mobility)
Thursday – SE / Lower body weights
Friday – Tempo / Upperbody weights
You can do either one, but notice how I matched hard track days with hard weight days and the same with the easy stuff.
Don't worry, you're on the right track, now it's just time to put everything together.
