Season is just about to start in the UK. Here is what i will be doing:
Mon- Accel, Plyos
Tue- Special Endurance 1 – e.g 3x250m full recov
Wed- Weights 3×3 – Core
Thurs- Speed Endurance – e.g 3x120m full recov
Fri- Rest / Core
Sat- Special Endurance 2 – e.g 2x450m or Race
If i am racing at the weekend then Thursday's session would change to Block work and resistance would be dropped on weights with emphasis on speed of movement.
Does it seem about right? or possibly too much high intensity work?
