Physio after work. Still treating the left achilles. It has improved dramatically over the past 10 days. Physio is still trying to massage out the thickness around the medial soleus, and needled the area today also. Also trying to improve the mobility of the ankle joint. Running again tomorrow.

Had a bit of a breakthrough as far as heel recovery and removing the ‘delay’ in my recovery. My coach and training partner only had to give me a small cue for me to improve this. One of the main cues for not letting my foot hang out the backside was when he said, think about how you would run if you were stuck in a ‘phonebooth’, limited space. i thought it was a really effective cue…worked for me anyway!
