Wednesday, February 6th, 2013 (6 Weeks)
Great day of training, pretty fatigued but may be because I’ve got a minor cold. It hasn’t stopped my training but has left me a little more tired than usual near the end of the day. Hopefully I’ll be over this by tomorrow.
Today’s training:
Extensive Tempo “A”- (1600m Total) Mix of 100, 150 and 200
The cold caught up to me towards the end of the track workout and was only able to complete a total of 1200m.
Plyometrics:
Standing Broad Jump 3x 12
Alt. Leg Bound 3x 12
Resistance Training:
Band RDL 4×3
+Double-Leg Hop 3x 12
Clean/Front Squat 2×5 (thigh)
2×5 (floor)
+Pike Jump 3x 12
Split Jerk Press 3×3
I did the later part of the Oly lifts at school with rubber weights.
Left glute still tight but not as painful, I’ll keep stretching out. Need to do more core work.
Tomorrow will be a quick workout make sure the diet’s in check.
