That sounds a little bit better. So are you against doing max V stuff on monday with weights? I know some people don’t like to do it first workout of the week because people are usually sluggish on monday but maybe it would be better the way you have it setup considering you are doing intensive tempo the next day. I just feel like you will get a little bit more out of saturday if thursday is accel but maybe then you will get less out of tuesday so it’s whatever you feel would work better. I’m sure you will be ok either way and maybe I am just looking into it too much.haha.
IMHO, doing MaxV on Monday seemed to spring board the entire week. Especially when it came to tempo workouts the next day and accels/approaches later in the week. It seemed to be easier for the athletes to ease into the sprint work instead of the intensity being full blast from the start, like in accelerations.
