In Toronto for work today – found a track about 1km from my hotel:
The Varsity Center Stadium at University of Toronto. Great Track. I was the only one on it. It is nice and soft, with big wide turns so was really easy on the legs.
TOUGH Intensive Tempo session today (30-45″ between reps; 6-8′ between sets)
1. 150/150/100 – 20.8/20.3/13.6
2. 200/200 – 27.3/27.7
3. 250/100/50 – 34.1/13.7/6.8
4. 100/100/100 – 13.7/13.3/13.1
Am actually starting to look forward to the next time I run a 400 🙂 Won’t be super fast, but I figure in 2-3 weeks time I will be ready for 54.0 or better.
