1. Throwing work
a. Discus – 5 stands; 5 full = stands were great. Fulls, only hit 1 good one, but it was nearly 40m
b. Shot put – 4 stands; 3 full; had release problems – still were all at around 40′
2. Completed warm-up with a bunch of drills and stride-outs
3. 6H+5m run-off – 9.6x = solid run. Best of the year.
4. Speed Endurance: Went submax – as it was wet out and wanted to work more on tech than overly stressing myself.
a. 2x110m – both sub 13
b. 2x60m (30m rolling start) – 6.6x; 6.70
Pretty pleased with today’s workout. Will be ready to go on Saturday. (Wishing I’d done more flying 60m work earlier). Will do weights and some grass tempo tomorrow, Tech work on Wednesday, plus some flying runs; and low volume grass strides on Thursday.
