1. Warm-up
2. Double Leg Plyos – 3×10 – Bench jumps (up onto bench, drop, back up).
3. Power Cleans – 10×3 – working up to last 6 sets at 70%ish – 200
4. A2G Pause Squats – 5×5 at 155/175/3 at 185
5. Bench Press (Pause at bottom of lift for 3 seconds – maintaining tension) – 5×5 at 155/175/3 at 185
6. Complex – x2
a. Sit Position Pull-ups x10
b. Good Mornings – 100lb x10
c. Hanging Leg Raises x10
Didn’t push it on weights today, as my left knee is sore as hell from bumping my Osgood Schlatters against the edge of a desk last week.
I will progress to fabled 3 step squats during my second micro-cycle of GPP.
I love where I am starting this year, and anticipate huge progress as season moves along.
