Thats pretty tough ass workout then. I feel like shit when we do 120’s,150’s and 200’s and the rest ranges from 2:20 to 2:40 I think. I hate doing intensive tempo but love the feeling after you’ve really pushed yourself with that kind of workout.
For some reason, those kind of workouts (150-300m runs at an aggressive pace) are pretty easy for me. The times I run in Intensive tempo workouts should have me at a much faster level in both the 100m and the 400m. Makes me think I do something wrong in racing that inhibits my displaying speeds I’m capable of.
