That's odd, according to that article my time for the first 30m puts me on pace for a 10.8 FAT 100 time, which is something I havent even come close to for that race. Does that suggest I need to work on my MaxV or my Speed Endurance?
This could be due to a number of things. If the method of timing you use is inaccurate (hand time for example) that could easily account for the differential. Also, and perhaps more importantly, any training norms (such as these charts) are made for general consumption and won't fit everyone. They can however be used as a good tool to assess one's strengths and weaknesses. In your case if your method of timing is accurate this would mean you need some serious development in top end speed.
