Nathan Taylor at Cornell is a great jumps coach. Cornell may have a different “atmosphere” than say Stanford, LSU, etc. but the results are still good (and closer to Canada). Here is a link to their media guide.
I’ll got that same feeling seeing him at meets especially with the triple jump. I didn’t get a chance to talk to the guy yet (wanted to but missed the chance) but from observation of him at the pit during meets he seems like a great guy (good relationship with all athletes) and he appears very knowledgeable. I say this based on his interaction with the athletes and the fact that his guys were all jumping at PR level which included some circa and supra 50′ jumps. That plus the fact that I actually know who he is because I was very impressed with Cornell jumpers in the past so I actually made it a point to find out who coaches them.
