Most athletes need to look at the program first before complaining of a product as pwo is felt over a year. One or two months maybe not. I don't know what % of your maximal output is placed in but those with lactose issues and GI stress need the better product. Syntrax nectar and dextrose works for some of my athletes but most need a product like cytofuse.
Many will claim they feel no difference between healthy diets and fast food….not arguing to be a jerk. Absorption is key if you are getting most of your proteins from powders as it is cheaper to use protein powder than tuna and chicken. If you are using a PWO and two servings of casein that is 75 grams of protein and you can't have one third not doing the trick. Absorption rate is not as important as % absorption as 3 minutes faster will not do much. The gut is tricky…
