Then spend the last two years trying to salvage your GPA?
Nobody graduates college and wishes they had partied MORE.
You should view those four (or five) years as an audition for a good reputation which can either serve you well or be an albatross around your neck. It does matter what you do then.
I thought it didn't matter and have paid the price ever since. Don't waste your time, effort, and/or money to do what it takes no talent or integrity to do and that is party your butt off. Any idiot can be a drunken fool, it takes discipline to squeeze every ounce out of your collegiate experience and make it work for you. Out in the "real" world, the job market is just too tough to not be as prepared as you can be for the insane competition you will face for employment. The great part about being an athlete is that you can fine tune your competitive habits in a fun environment.
ps I'm not saying don't have any fun, but pick your spots and your fun wisely.
