Not sure how you test but here are specific LJ test measures for someone aiming to jump around 6.30-6.50m. All of this data is from my own research/ experience.
SPEED:
30m (electronic – 1m fly in) – 3.94-4.00
30m (Hand time – start at first foot contact) – 3.51- 3.60
Fly 10m (electronic) – 1.14- 1.17
150m – 17.41- 17.80JUMPS:
SLJ – 2.50- 2.59m
STJ – 8.40- 8.69m
4BJ – 14.50- 14.89
Max 4BJ – 17.00- 17.99m
10 stride LJ – 5.60- 5.89m
12 stride LJ – 5.70- 5.99m
14 stride LJ – 5.80- 6.09m
Thanks Nick, that is incredibly useful, I know you test alot from my following of your past few years of training logs, and I like to test also, but have never done so from a long jump standpoint. So looking forward to utilising these . I have a freelap kit like yourself and also have access to brower timing gates so all tests will be electronic.
When you test the fly 10m , how much of a fly in ?
Also what is 4bj? is it 4 bound jump.?
When testing 10/12 & 14 stride jumps, does the take off point need to be exactly accurate?, if so setting up consistant check marks will obviously be needed.
I will test tomorrow on a few, as I have a speed and sled session along with some long j tech work planned. so will test the following as part of session , 30 m with 1m fly in, fly 10m & SLJ.
