Alrighty, I'm finally back to around 90%ish so I did a bit of running today. I ran an easy 7 then did some speed development stuff (a much shorter version than usual) then lifted. So I gotta story that kinda upsets me–this weekend my parents went out and bought a Porsche Boxter S which they picked up today and put in my garage–the problem with this is they took apart my weights to do it. So I improvised and did a few things different.
5×3–1 arm DB clean and jerk
7×1–here's where it got odd–kinda strongman esque and I liked it. It was a trashcan full of logs and an additional 165 pounds of DBs which I bear hugged and lifted. The start was a slight lower than parallel dead. It felt pretty much like a DL except I got more activation in my upper back, and obviously the chest/biceps for the ladies.
2×12 each leg–rearfoot elevated split squat.
