Spell check? There is a big difference between an O and an A (by the way, A would come up as an error as well) and considering the thread already had a number of posts spelling it correctly, it is rather embarassing to spell it with an O multiple times (you even used caps for it). It's a good way to cover up though and just say you didn't spell check–look up the post if you want–you simply didn't have a clue what you were talking about.
Also, his improvement from 2001 to 2002 was .06 (and he had a bad start in his best race in 2001), not nearly as much as Gatlin or Asafa have made in recent years (even when they ran much slower as juniors). I really don't see your point, even if you want to throw 2001 out, he ran a 9.92 legal as early as '97 when he was only 22. So let's see the progression: 9.92, 9.84, 9.78–that's much less extreme than either Powell or Gatlin, yet Montgomery is the one making these insane gains off of drugs and not technique changes (coincidentally, you didn't even know what changed!).
