What i noticed is that in my races i’m at top speed at 15m and then i die out and try to hold on for the rest of the race but what i think would work is if i stay in my drive phase for 30m keeping my body angle to the ground the same for 30m it would move my COM farther in front of my body allowing gravity to do most of the work so that i would hit top speed around 45-55m in the race and only have to hold on for 20 or 30 meters resulting in faster sprint times substantially what does everyone else think of this?

          Feedback will be appreciated immediatly

Hey its me again, I think you’re right about the drive phase. You must come out strong but don’t come straight up you sholud be accelarating through out the first 40-60 meters not just you first few steps.

I don’t think your plan is a good one. It will only be counterproductive to try and stay low. Each step you take should push your body into a slightly more upright position. If you try to stay low for 40-50m, you’ll end up bending at the waist and your pushes at ground contact won’t be through the long axis of your body as they should be. The only reason Mo and Co. can stay low for so long is because they are so powerful they can push at very low angles (while still progressing to a more upright posture) right out of the blocks while still creating enough flight time for them to get their feet in the proper position relative to their body. Less gifted athletes wouldn’t have the power to generate the flight times at low pushoff angles that would be necessary for an efficient acceleration.

Try to be a little more patient please. Questions are almost always answered on this board but unless you’re paying the answers won’t always come immediately.

A lot of training would be a good way to get your goal, what you run now.

Progress through body angles naturally. Don’t try to force any specific positions. Let the body do what it is supposed to do. Stay relaxed. Run bouncy and tall. Train hard and smart.
