Im new to the forum but have been reading posts and articles etc for around about a year now and it has proved to be very helpful.
Im 22 and began athletics august 2012 and finished the season with 10.83 and 21,36 100m/200m.
My first 60m after two months training i recorded a 7.12 PB. 2 weeks ago in london i recorded a 7.14 and 7.16 and am not sure what has gone wrong.
After reading this post im thinking it might be due to a change of technique.
Last year i did no speed work whatsoever in the winter as my coach did not believe in it so i took it on myself to do it myself by doing one accel and one max v day a week and changing my technique ( ive watched a few lectures on loren seagraves sprint mechanics etc)
So i thought my pb should have improved a lot with a whole year training behind me but in fact i ran slower than my first race ever.
Any help would be appreciated
